Since 1961, Marfell Community School has been growing and shaping young people, who can now be found living locally, nationally, and all around the world.

Easter 2011 marks our 50th anniversary - our Golden Jubilee. It's a time to gather and share our journeys, celebrate, catch up with old mates, and find out, just what did happen to ...

PROGRAMME:

Friday Night meet 'n Greet
Friday 22 April 2011, 7 - 11 pm
Marfell Community School Hall
Registration desk open from 4 pm.

An informal chance to chat and catch up. Tea, coffee and supper provided. BYO. Collect your registration pack from 4 pm, take a tour of the school, or go off for dinner, then see you at 7 pm.

Saturday Hangi
Saturday 23 April 2011, 10.45 am
Assemble at Endeavour St entrance for formal Powhiri at 11 am.

The heart of our celebrations - a family-friendly event, with special guests, Past Principal Rex Dowman as MC, celebration cake, official photographs, entertainment, and of course, pre-ordered Hangi. BBQ food will be available for sale.

Saturday Night Dance
Saturday 23 April 2011, 7pm - midnight
Marfell Community School Hall

Work off that hangi with a Marfell knees up! Dance to our band, enjoy a finger-food supper, alcohol available for purchase (responsible drinking essential). Bring cash for our raffles.

We've kept Sunday free so you can make plans to catch up with friends at leisure. See the noticeboard on our website to make arrangements.
